The girls in First Class had a very busy September and October in Term 1!  Besides learning lots of new things in class they also had great fun outdoors.  Here are some of activities that they had so far this year:

A visit from Heritage Ireland had the girls enthralled with a talk on biodiversity – they explored the biodiversity in the school garden and found some very interesting things.

Maths Week was great fun and the girls took on a maths trail challenge to find maths all around us.  Here they are in the school yard on their maths trail:

The girls helped the school to raise funds for ICT equipment by taking part in their sponsored walk around the Lough.  A great way to keep fit and healthy!
