Music is at the Heart of Life at Glasheen Girls NS!

At Glasheen Girls National School, music plays a central role in our everyday school life. Our senior classes, guided by the talented Ms Tierney and Ms Fitzgerald, form a wonderful school choir that brings joy and harmony to many special occasions throughout the year.

From heartfelt performances at Nativities and Confirmations to taking part in Cór Fhéile, our choir is always ready to share their musical talents. Most recently, they had the incredible honour of performing at the Cork International Choral Festival. Their performance was nothing short of outstanding, earning glowing praise and an impressive score — placing them joint third in the competition!
